As educators at heart, we believe instruction should be clear, purposeful, visually thoughtful, accessible, and transformational. We are particularly interested in designing learning experiences that empower individuals, whether in professional development, personal growth, or skill-based training. We understand both pedagogy and presentation and we genuinely care about the learner experience.

Most organizations know when their employees need training, but they don’t always know what a well-designed learning experience can actually do.  Instructional design goes far beyond creating presentations, courses, or training materials. It’s the process of turning information into learning experiences that help people understand, apply, and retain what they need to know.

The right learning experience can transform a complicated process into something simple, make technology easier to adopt, improve employee performance, support compliance, reduce frustration, and give people the confidence to do their jobs well. Every workplace can benefit from the right training.

Whether you’re a business, healthcare organization, educational institution, nonprofit, or other organization, I help you look beyond “What information do we need to provide?” and ask the more important question: “What do people need to be able to do and how can we design the learning experience to help them succeed?”

That’s where instructional design becomes powerful. TMP Media Group is here to empower your workforce.

This interactive community healthcare map supports adult learning by connecting new information to the learners existing knowledge and experiences. Adults learn best when they can relate new concepts to situations they have encountered in their own lives. Many learners have visited or seen outpatient healthcare facilities such as urgent care centers, surgical centers, or specialty clinics within their own communities. By exploring these familiar settings through an interactive map, learners can build connections between their prior experiences and new healthcare concepts, increasing understanding and retention.  This interactive map format encourages active exploration rather than just passive reading.

The activity aligns with Knowles’ Adult Learning Theory, Constructivism, Experiential Learning, and Mayer’s Multimedia Principles.
