I’ve spent over 35 years helping people feel confident with technology. That’s not a marketing line; it’s genuinely what I’ve done, in classrooms, computer labs, adult education programs, and boardrooms, from Long Island to Pennsylvania.

It started when I was in my late twenties, teaching at a nursery school that grew so popular it ran at capacity. I loved working with young children, but I was equally drawn to technology and what it could do for learning. So I started teaching computers to adults through a local school district’s adult education program for people who had never touched a keyboard, learning at night after long days at work. I also ran Saturday computer programs for kids. I eventually moved into the school district’s computer lab full time, working directly with teachers and students at the elementary level to bring technology into their classrooms in ways that actually made sense.

Along the way I built websites for small businesses, did training and project management for a computer firm, and spent years doing what I loved most: sitting beside teachers, showing them tools, watching the light come on.

I went back to school and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science. In August 2026, I completed my Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Learning Technologies — because I wanted the formal framework to match everything I’d learned by doing.

It’s the perspective of someone who has been the nervous adult learner, the patient teacher beside them, the person building the course, and the one evaluating whether it actually worked. I understand technology, but more importantly, I understand people — and how they learn best when they don’t feel judged for what they don’t yet know.
